favourites from Etsy - Belle and Boo...

Thought we would start featuring some of the very talented people we have found on Etsy, and where better to start than the very first person we 'hearted'.

Mandy from Belle and Boo is a Bristish illustrator who draws the most beautiful children. We knew we were going to love her work when we read that one of her favourite books was Milly Molly Mandy by Joyce Lankester Brisley. Mum (susieq) often read these stories to JJ and I at bedtime, and I now read them to my children. Here are a few of of my favourite illustrations from Belle and Boo's Etsy shop. There are so many gorgeous prints it was hard to choose! $5 from every sale from her Super Princess series of prints goes to the Mater Children's Hospital here in Brisbane where JJ's gorgeous little Harvey was born.

bye bye Quacky...

Hooray! Our gorgeous little Quacky is off to see the world. Well, California at least. It is so exciting to log on to Etsy and see that something has sold; that someone on the other side of the world likes the things you have created enough to buy them.

There was no creating today. Milkshake Mums was on at my house - a playgroup with mostly under twos. A catchy name even if we usually drink tea and coffee rather than milkshakes!

Here is one of our beautiful beaded fabric cards. I love the cheerful, sunny colours! Every time we use a different fabric it seems to get added to our list of favourites. They look so colourful all together and we are looking forward to displaying them in upcoming markets.
