Hey, you bought a polarizer! Congratulations. I loved the one I had for my old fashioned SLR. It's also very good for enhacing reflections on water. Have fun!
These look so pretty.. I'll have to pop back and see what they'll be! Not sure what a polarizer is would it help with my close ups?
A polarizer is used for getting minimising reflections - I got one to try to get rid of the reflections I get on my photos of our framed art. It is also meant to make blue skies look even more blue and other effects like that.
All things blue put me on to it - thanks!
I don't think polarizers help with close ups - I have always been told to use the macro button on the camera for those.
