hot off the press...

We've been busy working on some new cards (even JJ is straight back into it after having new bub!). Here is a new design.

our newest mondo baby...

It has been a very exciting week for us at mondo cherry as JJ has given birth to her second baby, a gorgeous little girl called Sienna Ruby. She is such a little poppet - lots of black hair and chubby cheeks! After a fairy traumatic last trimester, an emergency cesarean, and a husband that only just made it to the birth, it wasn't the easiest of deliveries, but God was watching over them both. Sienna is in the special care nursery with breathing problems but is improving steadily. It has been very hard for JJ not to be even able to cuddle little Sienna, and awful to watch her struggling to take a breath. But the nurses who care for the premmie babies and those with medical problems are just amazing, and she is being very well looked after.

Here are a few photos from our very busy but enjoyable Christmas..

Our Christmas tree, which is completely decorated with my collection of snowflakes. It is the closest thing I can get to a white Christmas here in Australia. The kids each have a small tree which they can decorate however they choose, which is where all the precious handmade kindy ornaments and the like hang.

A close up of a couple of my gorgeous snowflakes. I am a bit of a purist in that they can only be white, clear or silver. I love the thrill of finding a new one and, with just a few exceptions, each snowflake oranament is unique, just like the real thing.
