This week the Australian school year began after our long summer holidays. As usual, the last couple of weeks of vacation went all too fast, and before I knew it there were only a few days to go and a mountain of school books to be covered for my 3 school aged children. Help! One of my least favourite things to do is wrestle with contact (adhesive book covering). No matter how hard I try, or how slowly I peel the backing paper back, the wrinkles always appear. So this year I banished the contact, and the kids, susieq and I covered their books with funky flower paper (for my daughter) and an old book of road maps of the UK (for my sons). We thought they looked fantastic. What do you think?
