working and weather...

We have been working on orders for Christmas tags this morning, although our productivity levels have been about a quarter of what they normally are in this sweltering 35 degree + heat and without air conditioning in my still-undergoing-renovation house. JJ and I were chatting about how hard it is to get excited about pulling out boxes of Christmas decorations in this weather. Christmas trimmings just seem to be so much more suited to the Northern Hemisphere, where the thought of 'cosying' up a room with added layers, extra colours and baubles and boughs is just delightful.

I love your tags and doily trim! You're right about Christmas decorations - snowflakes just don't cut the mustard in this part of the world!

So beautiful and original - a set of these on their own would make a fabulous present. Leigh

Those tags are so lovely - any chance you could do a tutorial /ideas on how to wrap a present well - I never have a clue and yours look beautiful.

Absolutely. The weather's terrible. And I'm just dying for some rain. Everything is just brown and shrivelled. Ironic that they wanted to put a dam here and we've had the worst rainfall for ages.

Your tags are beautiful. Are the pictures fabric or paper? Have you got any ideas for table settings for Christmas?
