autumn leaves...

I am loving autumn in Melbourne. This afternoon the kids and I went for a walk in the streets around our house, buckets in hand, collecting beautiful fallen leaves in their amazing array of colours. We then had fun sorting and playing shop with them - quite the cheapest fun you can have in school holidays!

The colours of the leaves are beautiful. Our tress in the Riverland of SA haven't started changing yet. It's been a weird few months weather wise!

We don't have many yet here in Queensland but they are one of the things I do miss about living in Canberra.

I'm just so happy to be in the midst of spring, my yard is full og budding flowers, crocuses and daffodils. The lawn slowly turning green again and little robin singing in the birchtree at 5 in the morning.
Literally on the other side of the planet, in Norway..
Beautiful leaves, and for me a reminder to appreciate every season for it's beauty.

Oh they're gorgeous! Still stinkin' hot up here in Brissie. Hey Clare! Itching to get out the boots and scarves. A-M xx

How beautiful, I love the Autumnal colours too!

I used to live in Canada and then Armidale in NSW for a while and the colours were amazing. Sadly we don't really get those colours here in Qld.

What a beautiful activity.
