creative love...

We love a good wedding! Especially when it totally reflects the personalities of the couple getting married. A few weeks ago our gorgeous friends Aaron and Jules got married at Mt Tambourine, in the Gold Coast hinterland. This very creative couple love vintage style and their outdoor ceremony and reception had lots of special touches. They not only made the invitations, programs and signs, arranged the flowers and did the table settings - they even made the tables! Aaron sourced a dozen or so old doors and after lots of sanding and coats of paint, and trestle legs made by the bride's Father, they looked fantastic.

Following the ceremony they held an afternoon tea in the perfect Queensland weather and provided a number of games for the guests to play including badminton (with a net handmade from lace - so pretty!) and croquet (yes, they even made the hoops!). A perfect relaxed and pretty vintage wedding.

One of a number of signs made by the couple and their family contrasts perfectly with the delicate bunting.
The very happy couple. The little vignette behind them was one of a number that came straight out of their home  - a very personal and pretty touch.

Lots of gorgeous detail here - printed and stitched brown paper programs and cool Scrabble lettering.

A special tea-cup collection adds a vintage touch to the celebration.

Part of the desert buffet on the reclaimed tables. Yum!

Pretty and casual centrepieces- perfect for the field setting.

Leaving in their car, Reggie!

How good is this! Many a Bridezilla could take note of this bride's style. Hope you gorgeous girls & the Cherry Pips are well. My blogging catch-ups with precious chums are very few & far between these days, but I think of you often.
