our Christmas window...

We had such fun planning for and styling our Christmas window. We wanted it to incorporate our signature mix of white and colour, and old and new, and we thought we would stay away from the traditional Christmas colours and be a little more adventurous. We started with an old fireplace that we rescued from a reclamation yard in numerous pieces. Our clever husbands fixed it up and refurbished it beautifully and it now forms the perfect backdrop for some colourful stockings in mondocherry fabrics.

Not the usual Christmas colours, but we think it is festive nevertheless.
We then mentioned to our talented men our idea of a having a wooden tree on the side wall - the next thing we knew they were in Clare's driveway hammering together some old fence posts that Joy's next door neighbour was chucking out. If we had known what they could do before now, we would have had them building things for our own homes long ago!!

We designed a graphic button artwork created from colourful linens for our Christmas theme. It ties all the colours together perfectly.

Our recycled timber tree with simple ribbon bows. Artwork and lampshades  by mondocherry.
Stockings in some of our fabric designs.
Lots of presents under the tree (of course!)
The finishing touch - felt carrots for a very hardworking reindeer.

Christmas continues inside too... here is a little peak...

mondocherry tulle wreaths, colourful bird decorations, gorgeous Danish baubles in glass and silver and lots more...

I cant wait to visit your shop. Maybe in August I can finally get there unless my husband wants to go to football earlier. It looks so fresh, fun and exciting. Fiona in WA
